RayVen co-founder Melusine Reimers recently joined the NRW-Egypt trade relations panel at Industrieclub Düsseldorf. The event focused on boosting economic collaboration between North Rhine-Westphalia and Egypt and brought together leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss shared opportunities and challenges.

RayVen recently stood out at the Stage Two competition in Berlin. Competing with top startups from across Europe, we presented our innovative laser solutions for precise and sustainable material processing. Our performance impressed both judges and fellow participants, highlighting the hard work and dedication of our team.

Stage Two was a great opportunity to showcase our vision of turning research into real-world applications. Our 2-µm ultrashort pulse lasers are designed to meet the demands of modern industries, offering precision, efficiency, and sustainability. These qualities have the potential to transform material processing in sectors like manufacturing, aerospace, and medical devices. The event also provided valuable feedback and new connections that will support our journey ahead.

The founders of RayVen are always on the lookout for new opportunities and innovations. Our co-founder, Michael Müller, is currently on an exciting delegation trip in San Francisco, organized by the WORLDFACTORY Start-up Center of Ruhr University Bochum.

A highlight of this trip was participating in a Corporate Innovation and Leadership Roundtable, hosted by UA Ruhr and the German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH). The event took place at the German Consulate General in San Francisco and was hosted by SAP. The focus of the roundtable was on the topic “Going to US markets as a German Startup.” This provided us with a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the American market and present our ideas to key stakeholders and decision-makers.

We are thrilled about the opportunities and new connections that have emerged from this trip. The international network and the experiences gained will help us to further advance RayVen and strengthen our innovative power. 👨‍🏭 Melusine Reimers and Michael Müller, recently attended the AKL2024 in Aachen, and they’re back with fascinating insights and new network connections! The AKL is a premier international congress for laser technology, drawing industry experts and technology suppliers. In addition to the technical presentations, there was the opportunity to attend this year’s Innovation Award Laser Technology ceremony in the historic Coronation Hall of Aachen City Hall and to visit the Frauenhofer ILT laboratories. Exciting times ahead as we delve deeper into the world of laser processing!
